Hardy The De Luxe 9-10ft Fly Rod

For sale is a beautiful, highly collectible three-piece Hardy Bros Limited (Alnwick England)
The “De-Luxe” split – bamboo trout fly fishing rod.
Based on the factory serial number stamped on the reel seat (C 12652), this road was crafted precisely in 1920.
Script above cork: handwritten “The De-Luxe” and stamped “Palakona Regd
No 246936”
Reel Seat: stamped with the Royal Warrants (By Appointment) featuring the Lion and Unicorn Coat of Arms).
Patent: features the classic 1920s reel seat patent (No 145904)

Each section measures 39 inches making this a traditional 10 foot rod this is a remarkably complete collector – grade set including:
Man, butt section, middle section, and both matching factory – original top tip sections.
The incredibly rare, original one – inch wooden factory ferrule/joint plug.
The original Hardy metal protective storage tube. The rod has been stored safely in its tube. It is a wonderful vintage condition for its 106 – year age.
